On Friday, January 31st, our students got together and put their little fingers to work. Our third quarter service project was to make tag blankets to be donated to God's Food Pantry. With temperatures below freezing, these blankets will be very much appreciated by the families who receive them along with their food items this week.

We ended our time together with an update from our first quarter service project. In September, we filled shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse and Operation Christmas Child. Ms. Michelle showed our students pictures from the 2013 gift deliveries. The students were delighted to see that their gifts meant so much to so many.

We are so proud of this bunch! They worked very hard and very enthusiastically on each blanket. Many of them had questions about who would receive the blankets and why. Our hope is that with each service project their hearts grow closer to God and grow deeper in love for those around them. We want our kids to see the needs around them and then respond in love and make a difference.
Wonderful service project guys. Good job!
