This morning the RCHA hosted its very first Book Club event!

The event began with a lot of conversation and questions about the book led by RCHA president, Michelle Price.

After the discussion, some of the students acted out their favorite scenes from the book.

After the presentations, the kids tried their hand at illustrating. Some students chose to copy a comic from the book and others came up with their own original creations.
The final question of the day was, "Would you recommend
The Diary of a Wimpy Kid to other young readers?"

The next Book Club event will be Friday, June 7th at 10:00am at the Russell Springs UMC in the ROCK. At this event we will hand out the book we will be reading in June. All homeschool students PreK-6th Grade are invited to join the Bibliomaniacs for a summer of reading!
